On January 15th, accompanied by Mr. David, Honorary President of the Cambodia-China Friendship Collaboration Association (CCFCA), and Mr. Lin Youyuan, Global Partner of X Capital Investment Co., Ltd. and CCFCA’s representative for Greater China, representatives of the Chinese traditional medicine industry visited His Excellency Preap Kol, Minister attached to the Prime Minister of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace. Both parties engaged in cordial and friendly discussions about high-value medicinal plant production and investment opportunities in Cambodia’s pharmaceutical sector.
Mr. Liu Jiping and Mr. Zhang Jingwei, along with all members of the delegation, expressed their sincere gratitude to His Excellency Preap Kol for taking time out of his busy schedule to personally meet with the delegation. They explained that the purpose of this visit was to further understand the potential and investment opportunities in Cambodia’s pharmaceutical production and medical industry.
Mr. Liu Jiping stated that through this inspection visit, they will guide renowned Chinese pharmaceutical companies, including Beijing Tong Ren Tang, to invest in Cambodia. They plan to establish traditional Chinese medicine production facilities utilizing Cambodia’s natural raw materials. The finished products will be exported not only to the Chinese market but also to other countries.
He emphasized that Cambodia is a country with immense potential, possessing many underutilized raw material resources. This makes investment opportunities and development prospects in Cambodia very promising for traditional Chinese medicine industry enterprises.
His Excellency Preap Kol expressed a warm welcome and strong support for the Chinese side’s plan to establish a traditional Chinese medicine production factory in Cambodia. He highly appreciated the contributions of the Cambodia-China Friendship Collaboration Association (CCFCA) and X Capital Investment Co., Ltd. in promoting industrial cooperation between Cambodia and China and facilitating Cambodia’s socio-economic development. He hoped that the investment project in the traditional Chinese medicine industry could be implemented as soon as possible, not only fostering cooperation in the health sector between Cambodia and China but also further enhancing the deep friendship between the two countries.
