    On the morning of August 5, 2024, Mr. KEN LO, The Cambodia China Friendship Collaboration Association (CCFCA), paid a courtesy call on HE Long Kosal, Deputy Director General of APSARA Authority in charge of promoting culture, tourism and order in Siem Reap. Cambodia Tourism Promotion Project.

    The meeting was also attended by Mr. Seng Theara, Director of the Department of Angkor Tourism and Culture Development, Mr. Som Sopharath, Director of Department of Preservation of Archeology and, Mr. Sin Pisey, Director of the Department of Public Order and other relevant officials.

    HE Long Kosal welcomed Mr. KEN LO and thanked the association as well as X CAPITAL INVESTMENT CO., LTD for its willingness to promote Angkor culture and tourism to increase tourism to Cambodia.

    His Excellency continued that ​ Through the content of the letter submitted by the company to the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and ​Presentation of the project He welcomed and expressed strong support, but at the same time he also wanted to find out more about the purpose of the company and the project itself, especially photography, video recording in Angkor and the use of those images converted into AI or use as a feature. VR will reach the use of other functions and so on.​ In addition, he also wants to know about the business model of the company associated with this project.

    In response, Mr. KEN LO, Vice President of CCFCA and Representative of X CAPITAL INVESTMENT CO., LTD, thanked HE Long Kosal for taking the time to meet today.

    He said that the association and company work hard to promote Cambodian tourism culture to the world, starting from China because China has a large population and good relations with Cambodia.

    For Company ​X CAPITAL INVESTMENT CO., LTD It is an investment company and currently cooperates with Chinese companies, both public and private, and also with the Chinese Cultural Tourism Authority.

    The company is now partnering with BAOZUN GROUP, a leading electronic advertising service provider in China, and has signed a memorandum of understanding with other major Chinese companies.

    As for the conversion of Angkor image into AI or used for VR and other functions, the company has not given priority yet, it is only in the whole project, because other countries also have Applied.

    For the company’s business model with this project, the company will cooperate with Chinese companies that are partners to promote Cambodia and attract Chinese people to visit Cambodia by selling tour packages and Cambodian products. In addition, he also requested the Ministry to sign a memorandum of understanding on the Angkor project.

    After listening to the detailed explanation, HE Long Kosal said that taking photos or short videos using modern techniques, recording and publishing online or in major resorts in China or the company’s partner place, he supported. But the image of Angkor to be converted into AI or other uses that leave the content​ the origin of the ancient heritage values, he suggested that real images should be used and used in other forms.
