[News Release] Accompanied by leaders and officials of The Cambodia China Friendship Collaboration Association, a delegation from the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts visited Dayi County, Sichuan Province, from November 8 to 10. During the visit, the delegation witnessed the official signing of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on the Cambodia National Pavilion and Culture and Tourism Reception Hall between The Cambodia China Friendship Collaboration Association and the Dayi County People’s Government, marking a new chapter in cultural, tourism, and economic cooperation between Cambodia and China.
According to the agreement, both parties will jointly establish the Cambodia National Pavilion and Culture and Tourism Reception Hall in Anren Ancient Town. Upon completion, the project will position Dayi County as an important base for deepened China–Cambodia industrial cooperation and serve as a policy communication bridge for cultural and economic exchanges. The two sides also plan to promote the establishment of sister-city relationships between Dayi County and representative cities in Cambodia, making full use of the China–Cambodia production capacity and investment cooperation mechanism to jointly build a high-level demonstration platform for bilateral industrial cooperation.
During the visit, the delegation conducted field inspections of Anren Ancient Town, the Xiling Snow Mountain Scenic Area, and Sichuan Film and Television University. Through these visits, they gained a comprehensive understanding of Dayi County’s strengths and potential in cultural tourism resources, cultural industry development, and talent cultivation, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
The delegation was led by Mr. Lim Yousour, Deputy Director General Directorate General of Technique for Cultural Affair Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts. He was accompanied by Mr. Pok Borak, Director of Cinema and Cultural Diffusion Department, Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts; Mr. Huoy Socheat, Deputy Director of Cinema and Cultural Diffusion Department, Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts; Mr. Lin Youyuan, Chief Representative of the Cambodia-China Friendship Collaboration Association in China; Luo Junwei, Vice President of the Association; and Ms. Ear Sophea, CEO of X Capital Investment Co., Ltd., also joined the visit.
